Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking to appoint a compassionate and experienced school counsellor to join our team in August 2025 to support the well-being and development of our students. Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in counselling, psychology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of child development, mental health strategies, and safeguarding policies.
- Experience working with students across all key stages and abilities.
- Commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity, and well-being.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Core Responsibilities

- Facilitate and coordinate all counselling functions to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Provide individual and group counselling to students to support their emotional, social, and academic well-being.
- Develop and implement programs to promote positive mental health and well-being.
- Identify and support students facing personal, academic, or social challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional counselling standards.
- Always demonstrate, model, and advocate the AGS values.
