Job Summary:

This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for IT products and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement IT procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and emerging technologies.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for hardware, software, cloud services, and IT consulting.
• Vendor Management
• Evaluate and select vendors based on technical compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and licensing agreements.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships.
• Technical Evaluation
• Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
• Assess product compatibility, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
• Participate in technical reviews and pilot testing of new solutions.
• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Mitigate risks related to data security, licensing, and vendor reliability.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.
• Budgeting & Cost Optimization
• Assist in IT budget planning and forecasting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and contract renegotiation.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Procurement/Supply chain, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software licensing, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., Oracle Fusion, SAP Ariba, Coupa) and IT asset management systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
• Other related
