Mechanical Construction Manager

Job Description

James L Williams Middle East is looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join our Projects team and lead the site execution of complex Data Center projects.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical installations in line with project specifications, international standards, and strict time and budget requirements.

• Lead and supervise mechanical construction activities on Data Center projects
• Manage manpower, subcontractors, materials, and site logistics
• Ensure execution in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, and clients
• Monitor site progress and report to the Project Manager
• Support commercial activities including claims, variations, and progress payments
• Ensure project milestones are achieved as per approved programs
• Participate in design coordination and 3D model reviews where required
• Deputize for the Project Manager when necessary

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–15 years of overall construction experience
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on Data Center projects (mandatory)
• Strong site execution background in MEP works
• Solid knowledge of local and international regulations
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of claims/EOT processes
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
