About the Role:
- Lead end-to-end procurement and logistics operations, from vendor selection to final delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to secure favorable terms, quality, and credit facilities.
- Oversee import/export logistics, including customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with UAE and international regulations.
- Plan, monitor, and control inventory levels (safety stock, non-moving items, JIT methods) to ensure timely project execution.
- Coordinate proactively with sales, design, project, warehouse, and finance teams to align procurement schedules with project requirements.
- Ensure accurate ERP/SAP data entry for all procurement and logistics activities (quotations, POs, invoices, stock levels).
- Conduct cost analysis and market research to optimize procurement efficiency and track material price trends.
- Provide regular reporting on spend, lead times, and supplier performance, highlighting risks and corrective measures.
- Implement process improvements to reduce delays, avoid fines, and ensure on-time delivery to clients.
- Support compliance with authorities and certifications (where applicable e.g., aviation, electrical, or civil project requirements).
What We&aposre Looking For:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management & preferred Bachelors degree in Engineering with strong background in Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- 7+ years in Supply Chain Management
- Valid UAE driving license
- Strong working knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP/ERP systems for procurement, inventory, and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
