Oracle OAF Technical Consultant (Contract)

Next Ventures seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle OAF Technical Consultant for a contract role with our client in Abu Dhabi.

We are strictly looking for Arabic speakers only.

Description:

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development, customization, and extension within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environment.

• Design, develop, and implement custom Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages, regions, and components.
• Extend and personalize existing standard OAF pages to meet specific business needs without impacting upgradeability.
• Develop and troubleshoot OAF integrations with other Oracle EBS modules and external systems.
• Utilize JDeveloper for OAF development, including VO, EO, AM, and Controller extensions.
• Write complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages to support OAF applications.
• Develop and customize reports using XML Publisher (BI Publisher) in conjunction with OAF applications.
• Work with Oracle Workflow for process automation and integration with OAF.
• Perform technical analysis, debugging, and performance tuning of OAF applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for OAF developments.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, development standards, and deployment guides.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
• Stay updated with Oracle EBS new features, OAF best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Minimum of 7+ years of dedicated experience as an Oracle OAF Technical Consultant.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development, including:
• Custom OAF page development from scratch.
• OAF Personalization and Extension.
• Working with View Objects (VOs), Entity Objects (EOs), Application Modules (AMs), and Controllers.
• Understanding of OAF lifecycle and architecture.
• Strong proficiency in JDeveloper for OAF development.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Experience with XML Publisher (BI Publisher) for report development.
• Familiarity with Oracle Workflow for integrating business processes.
• Solid understanding of Oracle EBS R12 technical architecture.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
