Electrical Inspector

Employment: Full Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our MEP engineering consultancy team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will ensure electrical systems and installations meet all regulatory standards and project specifications, maintaining high quality and safety standards throughout construction phases.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and installations to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
- Review electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure proper implementation.
- Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to communicate inspection findings and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting observations, deviations, and actions taken.
- Verify that all electrical materials and equipment used comply with project requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or a similar role within MEP engineering or construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations, particularly those applicable in the UAE.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently under tight schedules.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and inspection tools.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental policies related to electrical installations.
