Designation: Senior Legal Executive
Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 15000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Executive with expertise in corporate laws to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, supporting corporate governance, managing contracts, and advising on various business activities to mitigate legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise management and business units on matters relating to corporate laws, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and other corporate documents.
  • Manage company secretarial functions including board meetings, resolutions, minutes, and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations (if applicable), FEMA, and other relevant laws.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, external counsel, and other stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other corporate transactions.
  • Stay updated with changes in legislation and best practices and advise management accordingly.
  • Provide support in managing legal risks associated with new projects, business models, and corporate structures.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, and respond to legal notices and regulatory inquiries.
  • Train and educate internal teams on corporate legal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; Master's degree (LL.M.) or Company Secretary (CS) qualification is an advantage.
  • 58+ years of experience working in corporate law, preferably in a corporate legal department, law firm, or consulting firm.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate laws, secretarial practices, compliance frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
