JOB DESCRIPTION
Weatherford is seeking a Field Engineer II - Liner Hangers to join our team. In this role, you will apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for a variety of products and services. Depending on your level of knowledge and experience, you will receive direct supervision in support of your duties and assignments or provide direction to junior field engineers.You will use your extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and make recommendations to improve the quality of products and procedures. You will act as the key interface with the client at the well site, carrying out service assignments and managing other Weatherford personnel.
Responsibilities- Running liner hanger & cementing jobs.
- Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, job hazard analysis, and report issues promptly
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in safe and presentable conditions
- Monitor and analyze data to recommend services and solutions
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform work processes according to your role level and competence
- Perform job planning, preparation, mobilization, job execution, and submit job-related data and reports
- Be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to client needs
- Test, operate, and maintain tools and equipment according to work instructions, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Deliver superior service quality to the client
- Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site
- Follow up on failures with the R&M team and ensure failure reports are closed with clients
- Contribute to or lead equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis reports
- Oversee, lead, and mentor Field Operation crew members (for senior-level roles)
- Act as a technical advisor to management and interpret data for client representatives (for senior-level roles)
- Perform engineering checks while on client location, including hand calculations, software computations, or new computations based on the latest data (for intermediate and senior-level roles)
- Manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field (for senior-level Field Specialist roles)
- Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics

Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent valuable years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in Liner Hangers jobs with 4 - 10 years of experience.
