Project Engineer

Employment: Full Time
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Maintenance Team in Abu Dhabi, with a specialization in Bridge Construction and Maintenance. The ideal candidate must be a Civil Engineer with a strong technical background and minimum 10 years of UAE experience in managing and executing bridge-related infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the planning, execution, and monitoring of bridge maintenance and rehabilitation works.
- Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work progress aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Ensure timely project delivery within budget and quality requirements.
- Prepare and review project documentation including method statements, progress reports, and technical submissions.
- Manage the procurement of materials and resources specific to bridge maintenance activities.
- Liaise with client representatives, government authorities, and project stakeholders for approvals and updates.
- Identify and troubleshoot construction issues and propose engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies on site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of UAE experience specifically in Bridge Construction and/or Maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure maintenance practices, materials, and standards relevant to bridges.
- Proven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
