Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator for a 6 month contract to support the end-to-end procurement function across operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of goods and services to support operational and project requirements.

The position will involve close coordination with internal stakeholders, global suppliers, and finance teams, particularly within a project-driven, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Operations
  • Coordinate procurement activities to support operational and project requirements, including offshore and field-based operations
  • Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and track orders through to delivery
  • Support urgent and time-sensitive procurement needs during operational cycles and project mobilisation phases
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and inventory data within ERP systems
Vendor & Contract Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers
  • Support contract administration and vendor agreements
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues
Finance & Reporting
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, FP&A, and Accounts Payable teams
  • Support cost tracking, budget monitoring, and procurement reporting
  • Ensure accurate invoice matching against purchase orders
  • Assist with accruals for goods and services received but not invoiced
  • Monitor open POs, committed costs, and unbilled services
  • Support month-end close activities and financial reporting accuracy
Process & Compliance
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate coding of procurement transactions (project, cost centre, operational budgets)
  • Support audit readiness and documentation requirements
  • Assist with PO amendments, closures, and system updates
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement
  • Experience in a project-based or operational environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
