Job Purpose
The Control Centre Operator is responsible for monitoring and tracking Public Water Transport (PWT) vessels, stations, and passengers to ensure safe and efficient service operations, working across day and night shifts while maintaining continuous communication with Captains/Skippers and managing all control‑center messaging to support smooth, timely operational response.

Responsibilities- Monitor daily public water transport operations, including ferries and water taxis, and coordinate with PWT Supervisors to ensure safe and timely vessel movement.
- Monitor weather forecasts and provide timely operational updates based on routes and schedules.
- Communicate station status, route deviations, and congestion updates to PWT Operations to maintain smooth and safe service delivery.
- Track passenger volumes at stations and coordinate with PWT Supervisors to optimize service levels and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational challenges, ensuring real‑time adjustments that maintain schedule compliance and prevent delays.
- Collaborate with PWT stations and vessel operators to support safe docking, berth availability, and seamless coordination across routes.
- Assist during emergency situations, report incidents to the PWT Operations team.
- Monitor CCTV footage from PWT vessels to ensure safety and operational compliance, reporting observations to PWT operations for follow‑up.
- Communicate any navigation warnings received to PWT Operations promptly.
- Create voyages for PWT vessels through ATLP platform
- Minimum 3 years of experience in navigation management and communication, maritime logistics, or vessel management
- Familiarity with water transport operations, ticketing and scheduling system.
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies /B.Sc. Nautical science/ similar qualifications from maritime universities.
- Fluency in English, Arabic would be a plus
- Knowledge of marine operations, fleet management, and control center systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills in resolving issues in real-time.
