Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Director of Engineering to oversee the engineering operations of Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites and La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency across both properties.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the engineering teams across both hotels, ensuring smooth operations and preventive maintenance.
- Oversee all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and civil systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives in line with Minor Hotels Green Growth 2050 strategy.
- Manage departmental budgets, cost control, and capital expenditure planning.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and hotel brand standards.
- Support projects, renovations, and upgrades while minimizing guest impact.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork within the engineering department.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 810 years of progressive experience in hotel engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality maintenance systems and sustainability practices.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multi-property operations with strong financial acumen.
