Role Overview

The Freezer Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the freezer storage facility by handling, organizing, and monitoring frozen goods under strict temperature-controlled conditions. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety standards to ensure smooth warehouse and distribution functions.

• Assist in receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching frozen goods accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor freezer temperature readings and promptly report any deviations to the Freezer In-Charge.
• Carry out stock checks, cycle counts, and support in reconciling discrepancies.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Maintain proper stock arrangement for easy accessibility and space utilization.
• Assist with reporting damages, expiries, and variances to supervisors.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) in a safe and responsible manner.
• Cooperate with warehouse, logistics, and quality teams to support timely order fulfillment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse or freezer operations, ideally within FMCG or food distribution sectors.
• Basic knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance.
• Ability to work in cold/freezer environments for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy, with familiarity in MS Office; experience in warehouse systems is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit to handle frequent lifting and movement of goods.

• Valid forklift or pallet jack certification.
• Previous experience working with warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and basic reporting.
• First Aid or Health & Safety training certificates.
