Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join our project in Dubai. If you have a strong background in quality assurance and control within the mechanical discipline and are eager to contribute to a high-profile project, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Assist in preparing Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Method Statements in coordination with discipline engineers.
• Oversee installation readiness and system testing & commissioning as per quality standards.
• Conduct material inspections both on and off-site, ensuring compliance with approved submittals.
• Verify that all materials delivered align with the approved technical submittals.
• Prepare and process Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Monitor and report non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including certificates, calibration records, inspection requests, and non-conformance reports.
• Ensure that measuring instruments used on-site are calibrated and that non-compliant tools are removed.
• Support the preparation and finalization of As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, and project close-out documentation.
• Ensure all snag lists are properly completed and closed out.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelor&aposs degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of project quality management, inspection processes, and material verification.
• Experience working with consultants and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
