About the Role:

We are looking for a high-potential Strategy Analyst to join our Group Strategy Office. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and Strategy Manager, supporting a dynamic portfolio spanning Consumer and Energy.

You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day execution of strategic tasks including financial modeling, presentation development, internal performance tracking, and investor materials preparation. This role is ideal for a driven individual seeking exposure to C-level strategy development within a fast-paced, multi-sector investment group.

Role Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, sector reviews, and internal dashboards.
• Support the preparation of internal recommendations and strategic decision-making processes.

• Build and maintain financial models to support business cases, capital allocation, and scenario planning.
• Perform valuation analyses for potential investments and bolt-on opportunities.

• Develop internal and external presentations for the board, investors, and senior leadership.
• Synthesize complex information into concise, visually compelling formats.

• Conduct in-depth research on sectors, markets, competitors, and macroeconomic trends.
• Identify strategic insights and implications based on data and benchmarks.

• Assist in preparing investor updates, earnings materials, and shareholder communications in collaboration with the Investor Relations team.

• Track and analyze performance metrics across operating companies and investment platforms.
• Generate reports and actionable insights to support performance improvement initiatives.

Required skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

• 2 -3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate strategy.
• Exposure to diversified sectors is preferred (e.g., consumer, infrastructure, energy, digital).

Core Skills:

• Strong analytical and modelling skills (Excel proficiency is a must).
• Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to synthesize information into compelling visuals.
• Excellent research capabilities and understanding of how to dissect sectors into various value chains to extract insights and strategic implications.
• Fluent in business writing with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working under pressure and on tight deadlines.

Education:

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• CFA is a plus.
