Job Description

Track Record Requirement: 510 years on the buy-side, managing $150MM+

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deploying capital using a systematic or rules-based framework supported by discretionary overlays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a semi-systematic portfolio across Credit or Fixed Income instruments with a focus on generating consistent alpha.
• Design and execute investment strategies informed by quantitative signals, fundamental data, and macro overlays.
• Leverage internal data, research, and execution platforms to enhance portfolio construction and trade optimization.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and risk managers to refine alpha signals, models, and portfolio risk exposures.
• Maintain robust risk management processes in line with firm-wide guidelines.

Requirements:

• 510 years of buy-side experience with a strong and verifiable track record managing at least $150MM+ in AUM.
• Deep domain expertise in global Credit or Fixed Income markets, ideally with exposure to investment-grade, high-yield, rates, or structured products.
• Demonstrated experience applying systematic or semi-systematic approaches to portfolio construction and execution.
• Strong programming or data analysis skills are a plus (Python, R, SQL), though not mandatory.
• Willingness to relocate to or be based in the UAE.
