We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Program Director to lead the development, oversight, and continuous improvement of engineering programs supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of a nuclear power facility. This critical leadership role ensures technical integrity, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering disciplines and operational units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of Asset, Component, and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with global nuclear industry standards and best practices.
• Drive program enhancements through lessons learned, operational experience, and industry benchmarking.

• Oversee program execution and ensure alignment with plant engineering and operational goals.
• Integrate data and results across multiple plant units for holistic performance evaluation.
• Ensure effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.

• Develop annual business plans aligned with strategic goals.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and resource allocation for optimum performance.
• Support corporate initiatives in quality, risk management, and continuous improvement.

• Provide leadership during outages or emergency response activations as needed, including off-hours or shift-based support.

• Inspire and develop high-performing teams.
• Support national workforce development and knowledge transfer strategies.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability.

• Ensure adherence to all HSE, security, and business continuity standards.
• Promote operational excellence through a culture of safety, quality, and integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
• 1012 years of relevant experience in power plant engineering
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership/supervisory role within a nuclear environment
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety, design control, configuration management, and outage/startup testing

Preferred:

• Masters degree in Engineering
• Experience with international regulatory standards and nuclear safety frameworks
