Project Engineer – Wastewater Treatment (Office-Based)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and design of wastewater treatment systems and infrastructure.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Support procurement processes by preparing technical bid documents and evaluating proposals.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Provide technical input during project development and construction phases.
Assist in permitting and regulatory compliance documentation.
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence.
Conduct technical evaluations and risk assessments as needed.
Attend project meetings and prepare minutes, action lists, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree inEnvironmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
24 years of relevant experience in wastewater treatment, water infrastructure, or related engineering projects.
Understanding of wastewater treatment processes and design standards.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, Excel).
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes is an advantage.
