Senior Analyst – Capacity Planning (Terminals)

And our Corporate Planning team creates strategy so that we’re agile enough to respond in a fast-evolving industry.

• You’ll be responsible for providing analytical and modelling support for terminal related capacity analysis and planning processes (including landside and airside areas) at Dubai International and Al Maktoum International airports.
• You’ll support the Terminal Capacity team to proactively promote the development of these facilities with the relevant delivery teams in a structured and timely manner to ensure that capacity is provided ahead of time to continue the growth of the Dubai aviation sector.
• You’ll analyse terminal capacity for various airport processes, general circulation, passenger populations and all other passenger movement related activities at both airports. Additionally, you’ll develop facility requirements that are aligned with forecast traffic growth and target service levels.
• You’ll work with stakeholders to develop the customer proposition for Dubai Airports to feed into the capacity planning and master planning processes, and maintain and update simulation data, accurate baseline simulation models and capacity assessment models for future years.

• You should be educated to a bachelor’s degree level in Business Analytics, Statistics or related field and have at least 3-5 years’ experience, in an analytical role gained in a strategic or planning environment in an airport or transport related organisation.
• You will have at least 2 years’ experience in developing and using simulation models (e.g. CAST or transport planning type simulation tool).
• You’ll have knowledge of working with large datasets, data visualisation tools and can communicate data and information in a manner that is readily understood by a wide audience of varied experience.
• You’ll have proven experience in leading quantitative research projects end-to-end (from problem definition to presentation of results to management).
