Mendix Solution Architect for Re-architecting

Job Description

In parallel, you will build a centralized User Management System to govern access and roles across all platform solutions.

• Assess the current Mendix ecosystem end-to-end: applications, infrastructure, database, security, APIs, and DevOps pipelines.
• Design a future-ready, modular, and scalable Mendix architecture aligned to enterprise best practices.
• Implement a zero-trust security model with SAML SSO, LDAP, and strict access controls.
• Build fully automated CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft TFS; standardize dev, test, and production environments.
• Redesign databases for performance — indexing, caching, and partitioning strategies.
• Integrate with monitoring tools including SolarWinds and AppDynamics.
• Revamp existing services (Mosque, Muwafaq, TRC, Al Ruwad, Finance Budget, and others) under the new architecture.
• Produce full technical documentation: solution architecture, LLD, ER models, API docs, and CI/CD workflows.

• Build a central User Management System handling employee registration, role-based and service-based access control.
• Integrate with Active Directory to reflect and manage the organizational hierarchy.
• Create customizable access control rules synchronized across all Mendix platform solutions.
• Develop a reusable integration module for consistent user data sync across the ecosystem.

• Hands-on experience with Mendix platform development and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application design, microservices, and API-first principles.
• Experience with on-premise infrastructure, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and virtualization.
• Proficiency in database optimization — schema design, indexing, query tuning.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Microsoft TFS preferred).
• Working knowledge of zero-trust security, SAML SSO, LDAP, and identity management.
• Active Directory integration and RBAC implementation experience.

• Mendix Rapid or Advanced Developer Certification.
• Experience with SolarWinds, AppDynamics, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Prior work on government or large-scale enterprise digital transformation projects.
• TOGAF, AWS, or Azure certifications.
