Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job purpose

At Emirates Group, we connect the world through our global hub in Dubai, ensuring our customers always 'Fly Better.' As one of the most recognised and admired brands globally, we're driven by innovation and excellence. Join us as a recruitment advisor and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation by driving people strategies that empower our global workforce.

Experience a fast-paced, multicultural environment where your expertise in human resources will contribute to building a world-class employee experience while advancing your own career on a global stage.

As a recruitment advisor, you will provide a full cycle recruitment experience to assigned departments within the Emirates Group, from sourcing, attracting, interviewing and hiring high calibre candidates capable and competent to perform the role and fit the Emirates Group values.

In this role, you will:

  • Understand the assigned departments' manpower recruitment needs and convert this into yearly Department Recruitment Plans (DRPs), which outline candidate identification and attraction initiatives, including UAE National positions.
  • Agree with the hiring manager on the most effective recruitment approach using a variety of channels, such as Internal Vacancy Notifications (IVN), job boards, career portals, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms, to attract candidates globally, including UAE Nationals for earmarked positions. Leverage available databases and technology, such as ATS and LinkedIn, to identify and shortlist potential candidates, and recommend top talent to hiring managers through well-crafted digital advertisements.
  • Recommend appropriate recruitment and selection methodologies, i.e. (In-tray exercise, assessment centre, digital assessment) to support the identification of talent against each position's technical and behavioural competencies and cultural fit requirements. Guide hiring managers on the interpretation of behavioural evidence and influence selection decisions.
  • Build professional and open relationships with hiring managers and departments, providing a professional service and balancing process integrity issues versus the need to react to departmental pressures. Proactively communicate with internal and external candidates within specified time frames to ensure a professional image and quality candidate experience, while staying informed on best practice recruitment and selection techniques, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Work with and manage the quality of support provided by recruitment agencies when operationally working with them in the field on campaigns, ensuring that Emirates Group's brand image and high standards of candidate experience are reflected by all processes where support is provided.
  • Carry out all administrative duties in the recruitment process, such as distributing interview packs, organising timetables, arranging interviews etc.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirement:

  • 12 years schooling or equivalent and 5+ years of recruitment experience OR degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent) and 2+ years of recruitment experience in-house or agency recruiter
  • Desirable: CIPD or any other HR professional certification
  • Must be able to travel to cover recruitment campaigns
  • Experience with various selection processes (digital assessments, video interviewing, telephone interviewing, reference checks)
  • Ability to conduct interviews using a behavioural competency framework
  • Ability to organise skills assessment centres (in tray activities, work samples, presentation topics)
  • Demonstrable experience of using dashboard tools to monitor key recruitment metrics, enabling informed decision-making and timely adjustments to strategies
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all processes
  • Familiarity with HR databases, ATS systems and CMS systems
