Sustainability Executive

Role Summary

Key responsibilities include research, benchmarking best practices, ESG data analysis, report preparation, and supporting ESG reporting frameworks. The Executive also assists with data collection, tracking sustainability targets and KPIs, stakeholder engagement, and providing operational support to strengthen the company's sustainability efforts and reputation.

• Provide daily support to the Vice President in implementing Majid Al Futtaim Group's sustainability strategy, including social impact projects and partnerships with government and community organizations.
• Support health, wellness, and career development programs to empower employees.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting carbon emissions, energy, and utilities, and collaborate on projects to achieve green building certifications such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and WELL Building Standard.
• Prepare internal and external sustainability and environmental, social, and governance reports, including the annual sustainability report and award submissions.
• Collect, analyze, and present sustainability data, benchmark best practices, and help implement environmental, social, and governance reporting frameworks and standards.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, track sustainability initiatives, and ensure compliance with governance practices and sustainability targets across the Group.

• Demonstrates strong stakeholder coordination, clear communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to effectively support sustainability initiatives.
• Shows enthusiasm for sustainability with basic knowledge of green building practices, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Has 0–1 years of experience in sustainability roles within corporate or consultancy settings, with foundational knowledge of the real estate industry and sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and preferably a sustainability certification such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or WELL Accredited Professional.
