The Senior Manager QA/QC will oversee quality assurance and control processes within the construction department of a financial services organisation.
Act as the technical link between design and delivery, ensuring MEP systems are constructable, efficient, compliant, and of the highest quality from final design through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Description
1 Ensure alignment with the organisation's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with the Development team to ensure the final MEP (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and ELV systems) design is constructable, efficient, commissionable and avoids historic issues from projects of similar nature.
2 Coordinate between the Development Design and Project Delivery Department during the final design and tender stages to ensure the construction sequence, value engineering, and contractor procurement strategies support the design intent and maintain high quality.
3 Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and work inspections as needed to ensure alignment with the design intent.4 Support value engineering exercised during the design and delivery stages while ensuring functionality, performance, sustainability, durability, and overall high standards are not jeopardised.
5 Coordinate and align all stakeholders to ensure integration with overall building systems while enforcing project specification and code compliance.
6 Collaborate with Project Delivery Department to witness and support key MEP system testing, commissioning (T&C), and integration during the construction stages.
7 Conduct regular site inspections to verify the design intent, project specifications, and high standards are met, while reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
8 Assist Project Delivery Department in troubleshooting during T&C stage, assuring timely delivery of the projects and correctness of the proposed technical solutions.
9 Control (monitor) the RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) protocols during T&C stage, assuring the correct conclusions are being made and the proposed solutions don't compromise quality of installation and systems performance / operating procedures / running costs.
10 Support system hand-over and technical trainings to operations team during project handovers, as needed.11 Assist in implementing BIM and CDE (common data environment) QAQC initiatives on projects, promoting digitization for MEP Design, Construction and Handover.
12 Identify potential risks and challenges related to MEP systems during the design and project execution stages and work proactively to mitigate them.
13 Address and resolve technical issues and/or conflicts that may arise during system implementation and manage corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and compliance.
14 Liaise with operation teams across running projects, collecting and maintaining the database of assets and their maintenance; optimizing maintenance protocols and schedules to assure continuous fault-free operation; minimizing the human error factor in equipment fault-free operation, etc.
15 Conduct and maintain lessons learnt database, projecting outcomes to future project development.16 Ensure compliance with internal processes for design consultant work review, deviation monitoring, and remedial actions.
17 Support group-wide initiatives and strategic goals, ensuring timely and accurate design review documentation, reporting, and filing.
18 Actively contribute to establishing and maintaining robust QA/QC policies and procedures.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned MEP professional with at least 15 years' experience in design, installation, commissioning, and project management, including 5 years in a managerial role within the region.
They will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills, capable of overseeing complex MEP systems on large-scale developments while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.
With excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, they will effectively bridge design and delivery teams, drive QA/QC initiatives, and support smooth handover to operations.
