Information Technology Business Analyst

Job Description

The IT Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and facilitating the implementation of systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency and align with organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to identify and prioritize business needs and challenges.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, workflows, and use cases.
• Develop and issue Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for vendor evaluation and selection.
• Conduct AS-IS process analysis to document current workflows and design TO-BE processes for optimized operations.
• Perform business value analysis to evaluate the impact and ROI of proposed solutions and initiatives.
• Define the scope of work (SOW) for IT projects, ensuring clarity on deliverables, timelines, and KPIs.
• Identify and classify business needs into enhancements, service requests, and larger-scale projects.
• Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for system and process enhancements.
• Support PMO team during the design, development, testing, and deployment phases to ensure business objectives are met.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback collection to validate solutions.
• Act as a liaison between the business, IT, PMO and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
• Continuously evaluate business processes to recommend improvements and drive operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions for evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in business analysis, including RFI/RFP creation, scope definition, and process mapping.
• Strong knowledge of AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping techniques and business value analysis frameworks.
• Proficiency in drafting business documentation such as BRDs, SOWs, RFIs, RFPs, and KPIs.
• Experience in defining, monitoring, and reporting on KPIs to measure the success of IT projects and processes.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in gap analysis, process optimization, and system improvement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CX System, and data analysis tools.
• Preferably with Automotive industry experience.
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are preferred.
