Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager for two manufacturing entities plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the fiscal health of both entities. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, team management, communication, collaboration, process improvement, and monitoring controls for both manufacturing units.
DESCRIPTION:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements for all entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Senior Accountants to streamline reporting processes.
- Conduct regular analysis on actual spend versus budget and ensure expenditures do not exceed target.
- Close monitoring of Cash Flow and NWC against budget.
Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of Senior Accountants, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger activities.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and facilitate professional development for the team.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Address audit queries and implement necessary improvements ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and support.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure financial practices are in line with overall business goals.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Evaluate and recommend financial systems or tools to optimize performance.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Professional Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA/ACCA Preferred)
- 7-8 years experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
