Camp Manager -Offshore Oil & Gas Job Description

A Camp Manager (also called Camp Boss in offshore projects) is responsible for managing accommodation, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, welfare, and daily camp operations for offshore or remote oil & gas personnel.

• Manage day-to-day camp operations offshore or at remote oil & gas sites
• Supervise catering, housekeeping, laundry, accommodation, and recreation facilities
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and camp cleanliness standards
• Coordinate maintenance works (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
• Handle transportation and logistics within camp facilities
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and vendor/subcontractor services
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and offshore safety regulations
• Manage camp staff schedules, discipline, and welfare
• Maintain occupancy records, reports, budgets, and camp documentation
• Handle employee grievances and emergency situations
• Coordinate with client representatives and offshore management teams

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Administration, Facilities Management, or related field
• 5–10 years experience in camp management/offshore catering/oil & gas support services
• Experience in offshore or remote site operations preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of HSE and offshore safety procedures
• Computer skills (MS Office, SAP or ERP systems preferred)
• Ability to work on rotational offshore schedules
