Responsibilities- Construction & Site Management
- Supervise daily construction activities on residential apartment projects
- Ensure work is executed according to: Approved drawings, Specifications, Project schedules
- Monitor site progress and resolve on-site technical issues
- Project Coordination
Coordinate with:
- Contractors and subcontractors
- Architects, consultants, and engineers
- Project managers and internal stakeholders
- Quality Control
- Ensure all works meet high-quality construction standards
- Conduct site inspections and identify defects
- Ensure compliance with: Australian Building Codes (NCC/BCA)
- Project specifications and finishes
- Planning & Scheduling
- Track site progress against project timelines
- Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks
- Support timely completion within deadlines
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards
- Conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with Australian construction regulations
- Material & Resource Management
- Monitor material usage and availability on site
- Coordinate delivery and storage of materials
- Reduce waste and improve resource efficiency
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain:
- Daily/weekly progress reports
- Site records and inspection logs
- Ensure proper documentation for approvals, audits, and handover
- Handover & Completion
- Support project handover and defect rectification
- Ensure apartments meet design, quality, and client standards
- Coordinate final inspections and project close-out
- 2–5 years of experience in: Residential building construction (apartments preferred),
- Experience working with: Developers / builders, Multi-storey residential projects
- Bachelor's degree in: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture
- Strong site supervision and coordination skills
- Understanding of residential construction and finishes
- Knowledge of Australian building standards and regulations
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments
