Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data-driven buying strategies aligned with consumer trends and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end procurement, including vendor selection, cost negotiation, and contract management, focusing on favorable terms and exclusive deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional FMCG suppliers to ensure quality, consistency, and competitive pricing.
• Calculate cost price, selling price, and target margins for all food items based on COGS (cost of goods sold), supplier quotes, and operational overheads.
• Maintain accurate pricing models and margin trackers for ongoing category performance management.
• Work with finance and operations to analyze gross margin impact of supplier changes, promotions, and menu engineering decisions.
• Analyze market data, sales trends, and consumer behavior to optimize product mix, pricing, and promotions.
• Monitor and respond to competitive activity and evolving local demographic trends to ensure relevance and positioning.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, culinary, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of food category strategies.
• Conduct regular category reviews and supplier evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
