Director of Finance & Procurement(UAEN)
Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Role
To lead and manage all financial, accounting, procurement, contracting, and administrative activities within FAA, ensuring compliance with approved financial policies, local and international standards, and best practices. The role also requires establishing well-defined processes and enhancing operational effectiveness across all support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to shaping and driving FAA's long-term strategic objectives
Lead the development and implementation of Finance & Procurement strategies and operational plans
Oversee financial policies, systems, processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure alignment with FAA objectives and compliance with international standards
Manage and consolidate FAA's functional budgets and monitor performance against approved plans
Supervise general accounting activities in line with international accounting standards and local regulations
Oversee all cash management activities
Lead the end-to-end purchasing and contracting processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
Certifications:
Professional certification required: CFA, CMA, or CPA
Experience:
Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in financial and administrative leadership roles
