Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of ICT/ELV systems, including structured cabling, data networks, BMS, fire alarm, and security systems
• Supervise and manage a team of 3 engineers, with capacity to scale the team based on project requirements
• Develop scalable and resilient infrastructure designs aligned with Tier standards (Uptime Institute/TIA-942)
• Design and coordinate structured cabling systems (fiber & copper) for high-density data center environments
• Plan and design data center network architecture (LAN/SAN, spine-leaf topology, redundancy, failover)
• Integrate ELV systems with data center infrastructure including BMS, DCIM, fire alarm, and security platforms
• Design and implement security systems such as CCTV, access control, and perimeter security tailored for critical facilities
• Perform and contribute to Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRA) and physical security studies
• Prepare and review detailed design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical reports for data center projects
• Ensure compliance with international standards (TIA-942, BICSI, ISO/IEC, NFPA) and local authority regulations
• Act as technical lead for data center projects, coordinating with MEP, IT, and specialist vendors
• Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications for mission-critical systems
• Support capacity planning, rack layouts, and cable management strategies for optimized performance
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installation meets design intent and data center best practices
• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting uptime, redundancy, or performance
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance in all system designs
• Review as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and ensure proper handover of systems
• Stay updated on emerging data center technologies, hyperscale requirements, and industry trends

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10–15+ years of experience in ICT/ELV engineering
• Proven and mandatory experience in data center projects (design and delivery of mission-critical facilities)
• Strong expertise in ICT/ELV systems including structured cabling, data networks, BMS, fire alarm, and security systems
• In-depth knowledge of data center standards and best practices (TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier Standards, BICSI, ISO/IEC, NFPA)
• Experience in data center network architecture (LAN/SAN, spine-leaf, redundancy, failover strategies)
• Must hold RCDD or CNIDP certification (mandatory)
• Experience in Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (TVRA) and physical security studies
• Strong understanding of security systems design including CCTV, access control, and perimeter security for critical infrastructure
• Experience integrating ICT/ELV systems with BMS, DCIM, and fire alarm systems
• Experience in reviewing contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, IT, vendors, clients)
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit/BIM
