Role Description:

Imperium Group is looking for an experienced and visionary Lead Architect to join our team and lead the design and execution of high-profile architectural projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the full design process, ensuring architectural excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment with client expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong design leadership, technical expertise, and project management capabilities, contributing to the continued growth and reputation of Imperium Group in delivering high-end architectural developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the architectural design process across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality design standards and innovation.

Manage projects through the entire architectural life cycle, from concept design and schematic development to detailed design, construction documentation, and site execution.

Develop and present concept design proposals, architectural visions, and creative solutions that meet client objectives and project requirements.

Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, interior designers, landscape designers, and external consultants.

Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and quality standards.

Ensure that all designs comply with local authority regulations, UAE building codes, zoning requirements, and international architectural standards.

Manage the design development process, ensuring integration between architectural, structural, and MEP systems.

Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations, and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project expectations.

Support project planning by contributing to project schedules, design milestones, and resource planning.

Collaborate with project managers and cost consultants to ensure design solutions are aligned with project budgets and timelines.

Provide technical support during construction phases, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting site visits when necessary.

Identify and mitigate design risks and technical challenges, proposing effective architectural solutions.

Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, ensuring professional development and maintaining high design standards.

Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and design excellence.

Participate in design competitions, proposals, and business development initiatives when required.

Contribute to the development of company design standards, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 13-15 years of professional architectural experience, including several years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong expertise in concept design, design development, and detailed design documentation, with the ability to translate creative vision into practical architectural solutions.
• Proven experience managing projects through the full project life cycle, from concept stage through design completion and construction support.
• Demonstrated strong design vision combined with leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-end projects across residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with visualization tools such as 3ds Max, Lumion, or Enscape is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, authority approval procedures, and regional regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate consultants, and ensure design excellence under tight deadlines.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design capability, technical expertise, and project leadership experience.
