About the job
We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor with a strong luxury hospitality background in festive venues to join a new opening French Mediterranean restaurant in Dubai.
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily service operations, ensuring that every guest experience is seamless, elegant, and memorable. You will support the Restaurant Manager in managing floor operations, lead and motivate service staff, and act as a key liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the service team during daily operations, ensuring consistency and excellence across all areas of the floor.
- Deliver outstanding guest service by anticipating needs, resolving concerns, and upholding luxury standards.
- Maintain clear and effective communication between service staff, kitchen, and bar.
- Monitor the quality of service and guest satisfaction throughout each shift.
- Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and safety protocols in compliance with health standards.
- Mentor, train, and develop service staff to foster a high-performance, team-oriented environment.
- Conduct regular floor checks to ensure presentation and service standards are met.
- Assist in managing guest flow and table coordination to maintain operational efficiency.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to the Restaurant Manager as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in an upscale or luxury hospitality setting, with proven floor leadership responsibilities.
- Language: Fluency in English is essential; French language skills are highly preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and inspire a dynamic front-of-house team.
- Service Focused: Passion for delivering elevated, detail-oriented guest experiences.
- Organized & Adaptable: Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a commitment to excellence in team performance and service delivery.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of fine dining service standards, wine and beverage pairing.
