QC Material Inspector (Fabrication)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced QC Material Inspector with a strong background in fabrication activities for EPC projects in the oil and gas industry. The role is responsible for ensuring that all materials used in fabrication comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.

YOUR ROLE
As a QC Material Inspector (Fabrication) you will:
- Inspect and verify incoming materials (plates, pipes, fittings, structural steel, bolts, consumables, etc.) at fabrication yards
- Review and validate Material Test Certificates (MTCs) against project specifications and approved vendor documents
- Ensure material traceability throughout fabrication and assembly stages
- Conduct inspection of material handling, storage, preservation, and identification
- Verify compliance with approved ITPs, QCPs, drawings, and standards
- Monitor fabrication activities to ensure correct materials are used as per approved BOM/MTO
- Raise and follow up on NCRs, deviations, and corrective actions related to material issues
- Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and material records for client submission
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QC Material Inspector in EPC oil & gas projects
- Proven experience working in fabrication yards (modules, piping, structural steel, pressure parts)
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent)
- ISO Internal Auditor Certificate
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards
- Good knowledge of material grades used in oil and gas projects
- Must be familiar with Heat numbers, PMI requirements and traceability systens
