Job summary

He should be actively participating in manufacturing / commissioning and contributing to timely complete tasks in a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand the work order for the job assigned.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
• Assemble the job as per the specifications provided in the work order package issued.
• Update and maintain documents required for relevant work orders.
• Notify supervisor for any mistakes or as-built changes required.
• Conduct hydrostatic tests or factory acceptance tests (FAT) of completed jobs only if authorized to do so, at designated areas.
• Maintain tools and equipment always in good condition.
• Report to the cell leader immediately any machine problem or accident.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop as per 5S.
• Comply with all NOV company and HSE procedures and policies.
• Perform any kind of tasks or duties as requested by the cell leader.
• Be available for field service trips if required and for other activities requested by management.

Educational qualification & experience required:

Essential:

• Basic knowledge of assembly techniques and tools
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician
• Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

Desirable:

• Technical training certificate
• High school diploma
• Experience in mechanical installation
• Familiar with NOV K-Winch, WPCE, and WHE products
