Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to Manage Construction of large Road Infrastructure upgrade packages.
What You&aposll Be Doing- Act as a role-model for teams in terms of safety behaviours and values;
- Ensure that package and initiative level construction management and/ or supervision of project works is undertaken;
- Ensure that all package and initiative level construction management complies with construction management processes and effectively implement them for the project;
- Provide construction management input to the project works where appropriate, particularly advice regarding construction/ implementation/ constructability, and construction/ implementation reviews;
- Evaluate the progress on site against the programme and agreed milestones at Package and Initiative Level. Use this information to provide accurate updates to the project team and agreed reporting lines;
- Assist the Contractor when appropriate for the project works in the review of Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, commissioning plans and other project documentation;
- For the project works being managed, identify issues on site that may result in cost variation, delays and report them to the project team, providing assistance in the valuation of these variations and intervene and guide to mitigate issues and risks ;
- Oversee monthly initiative-levels report as Project Control Consultant
- What Required Skills You&aposll Bring
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15-20+ years in construction management roles for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.
- What Desired Skills You&aposll Bring
- Proficiency in construction management EDMS software and strong knowledge of planning tools .
- A willingness to solve problems, guide teams and ensure delivery of successfull projects.
- Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Confidential
