WSP Middle East is looking for a graduate lawyer to join its busy and vibrant legal team. In this role, you will provide legal support to WSP throughout the Middle East, with a primary focus on helping manage our corporate portfolio and reviewing and negotiating construction industry contracts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate to gain hands-on legal experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. To be suitable for this role, you must be organised, display excellent written/communication skills, and have the ability to apply sound legal and commercial judgment.You must hold a law degree, ideally with a focus on Civil Law systems.
Responsibilities- Support the delivery of legal services to different teams across the Middle East business in a timely and professional way.
- Assist with the day-to-day tasks related to managing company entities in the Middle East, including setting up, closing down, or making changes to business registrations.
- Help review, draft, and organize different types of contracts and agreements, such as consultancy contracts and subcontracts.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations that may affect WSPs operations in the region.
- Support the legal team in managing the companys corporate documents and activities in the Middle East.
- Share observations and suggestions on corporate matters with senior members of the legal team.
- Work closely with other teams to help manage WSPs legal and corporate responsibilities in the Middle East.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Recently graduated or possess up to 2 years of relevant legal experience, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrate fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit the ability to adapt to changing business needs and quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working within cross-functional teams.
- Show a proactive attitude toward learning and developing legal expertise.
- Embrace new challenges with flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Must be a UAE National.
