Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and Dubai Municipality-approved Civil Engineer to oversee and manage the construction of a 12-floor residential/commercial building. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, proven experience in managing multi-story projects, and the ability to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee all phases of the construction project, from planning and design to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Site Supervision: Monitor and inspect construction sites regularly to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
• Design and Planning: Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to review and finalize project plans and blueprints.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with Dubai Municipality regulations and other relevant local codes.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction are maintained.
• Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and handle cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project continuity.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site logs, and inspection records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with significant experience in managing high-rise building projects in Dubai.
• Certification: Approved by Dubai Municipality as a Civil Engineer for G+12 or unlimited.
• Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Driving License: Valid UAE driving license.
