Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Credit Policy, Business, Market Risk and RM to facilitate and execute the Credit Strategy for the bank with respect to offerings to Wealth/ Affluent Clients. In addition, provide after sales servicing to clients holding such finances.
- Analyzing and processing of applications to ensure they meet the requirements as defined in the approved Investment Product Finance Guide (IPFG). Evaluate customer&aposs creditworthiness in line with the creditworthiness guidelines approved in the IPFG.
- Ensure strict adherence to the quarterly approved FTV matrix and Portfolio Cap values published by Market Risk in all cases while underwriting.
- Process new, renewal and after sales service requests for wealth clients. Review Collateral Swap, Collateral release, partial and complete liquidation requests in line with approved policy and adherence to SOP.
- Review the Margin call report published by CAD and review the application/ request for regularization.
- Maintain oversight on overdue accounts as published by CAD.
- To ensure regular updating of data in MIS maintained within the Unit.
- To ensure proper use of assigned delegation authority as approved by the bank.
- Review process documents and suggest changes to further strengthen and make the process more robust based on risks adjudged.
- Create repository of FTV approved by Market Risk/ approved exposure on collaterals and ensure overall exposure within limits.
- Work with Business to facilitate the optimal customer credit exposure for approval based on collaborative interaction with the RM.
- Development of training manuals, process documents, credit proposal documents, integrate automated cross checks with policy parameters to reduce errors and assist the Unit in migration of the product to a workflow as and when available.
- Conduct UAT for new systems/processes. Liaise with technology for providing them with business requirements and support unit in implementation of new technology/processes.
- Meet the set targeted productivity levels and ensuring that all applications are processed within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Devise cross training and back-up plans for the unit to ensure no disruption in the process flow/ BAU.
- Conduct training for new joiners.
- Identify any anomalies/ risks in proposals/ processes and highlight it to manager/ Policy/ Business units.
- Work closely with Business and other stake-holders w.r.t implementation of the Consumer Protection Regulation and Standards.
- Work closely on other Secured Initiation Products (such as Auto Finance Company and Individual) and assist RCD with other products as and when required.
- Ensure a satisfactory audit report for the RCD process for the product.
- All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 - 4 years relevant experience in Wealth Management/ similar finance service industry.
Education:
- MBA.
