Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the food and beverage operation achieves its goals and contributes to the guest experience and overall profitability of the hotel whilst maintaining Paramount Hotel Brand standards
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop food and beverage strategy in order to provide innovative and exciting guests experiences that meet the business objectives
- Monitor service and food and beverage standards in all outlets and kitchens ensuring that managers take corrective actions as necessary
- To take overall responsibility for Food & Beverage Department during absence of EP F&B
- To monitor guest feedback in relation to service, products and promotions and reviews in accordance with the Director
- To oversee all training activities of the F&B department
- To review and control the weekly payroll and overtime sheets and monitor according to budget
- To consult all outlet managers on operating requirements and quality standards
- To be proactive during service peak times maintaining a highly visible profile in outlets
- To work on reports, forecasts, budget, marketing plan, festivals and special promotions
- To work with accounts department to oversee physical inventories, analyse specialized reports, slow moving items and low stock list and productive norms
- To ensure that guests feel welcomed and comfortable in all F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, in- and around all places where F&B services are provided to guests
- To anticipate and attend to guests needs in all F&B outlets and ensure maximum guest satisfaction at all times
- To develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all restaurants and bars to achieve a profitable result
- To initiate special promotions and activities that generate additional revenue and popular interest
- To have ability to work under pressure at all times
- To operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and employees health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- To perform any additional or special duties, as directed by the management and function as the manager on duty
Qualifications:
- 2 years as Producer F&B in a luxury property
- Management in boutique style operations of 5 F&B outlets or more
- Experience in a multi-cultural environment or experience with multiple cultures
- Operates under high service standards
- Experience in restaurant refurbishment or development/ concept development
- Work experience in Middle East/ GCC
