Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager with strong operational oversight and value creation capabilities to maximize the performance of our private equity investments. The role involves working closely with PortCo management teams and our investment professionals to drive strategic initiatives, monitor financial health, and ensure robust operational performance.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in portfolio management, operations, or value creation within private equity or a holding company and will be based in the UAE.

Must:

  • Based in the UAE
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Portfolio construction and risk management expertise

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed monitoring of portfolio financial and non-financial performance against investment theses and budget targets
  • Drive value creation initiatives across the portfolio, collaborating with PortCos leadership to optimize operations, margins, and growth
  • Report regularly on portfolio performance, synthesizing complex financial and operational data into clear updates for senior leadership and investors
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing relationships and communication between the fund and PortCo management teams
  • Conduct operational reviews and track key performance indicators to identify underperformance and implement corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in private equity portfolio management, corporate development, management consulting, or an operational role within a private equity holding company
  • Proven track record of tracking private equity PortCo performance metrics and successfully executing value creation playbooks
  • Familiarity with designing and analyzing both financial reports and non-financial (ESG, operational, commercial) data structures specifically for private equity assets
  • Strong understanding of private corporate governance, business transformation, and equity stakeholder management
