We are hiring a data engineer for the data services team who will help us create our internal solutions such as a feature store and will be ready to perform operational tasks.
Key responsibilities- Developing feature store and other future data services
- Developing EL/ELT/ETL pipelines
- Integrating new tools for data processing and data storing
- 3-5 years of experience as data engineer, ML engineer, backend engineer
- Experience in developing high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems
- Good knowledge and background in event-driven systems and streaming pipelines
- Python with best practices
- SQL with best practices
- System design best practices
- Familiar with tech stack such as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery/Clickhouse, PostgreSQL/CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab (CI/CD), GCP
- REST API, GRPC API, message brokers and queues
- Golang development experience
- Experience with modern systems of data storing: relational, MPP, NoSQL
- Experience on Google Cloud Platform

Relocation
We offer remote work from anywhere in the world and are happy to work out an individual relocation plan for you.
Our employees have the opportunity to choose a country for registration: at the moment those are Armenia, Georgia, Serbia, Portugal, Spain.
We will help you open a legal entity and a bank account. In Armenia and Georgia the taxes are compensated by Tabby. In other countries we provide partial compensation of taxes.
We employ according to B2B contracts (service agreements).
For our employees we cover the following:
- Flight to one of the mentioned countries
- Accommodation during the paperwork completion period
- Opening a bank account and getting a residence permit in one of the mentioned countries
- Family relocation (dependants)
New employees can also choose an alternative method of relocation to another country of their choice. In this case, Tabby will reimburse up to $5,000 of verified costs upon opening a legal entity and a bank account.
