Role purpose
Develop strong relationships with key contacts in targeted sectors and segments to source payroll salaried accounts, cross-sell asset products (for example, covered cards and personal finances) aligned with ADIB policies and procedures.
Key accountabilities of the role- Source payroll accounts from targeted sectors and segments and achieve or exceed the assigned monthly target.
- Cross-sell and source covered cards products from targeted sectors and segments and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
- Cross-sell and source personal finance products from targeted sectors and segments and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with respective employers' HR, finance, and admin departments within targeted government entities, multinationals, and well known large and medium corporates, in addition to new establishments and free zones.
- Conduct marketing, kiosk, and onboarding session activities within targeted employers to market ADIB products and services.
- Participate in and complete activities assigned by management.
- Maintain full awareness of product policies and procedures and ensure swift implementation.
- Visit potential employers and clients to finalize business deals within targeted turnaround time based on ADIB policy and procedure.
- Maintain full awareness of assigned products in terms of knowledge and process and ensure full adherence.
- Deliver timely and prompt service to customers.
- Adhere to stipulated office timings, follow confidentiality norms strictly, and maintain data confidentiality.
- Prepare and review standard credit applications, ensuring all information provided is accurate and verifying the authenticity of critical documents (copies of bank statement, passport, EID, salary certificate, or salary transfer letter) prior to sending to the respective unit coordinator for processing.
- Follow the approval process and escalate delays to superiors if any.
- Execute and process the above-mentioned product lines representing ADIB; prepare files as per checklist and share physical files with coordinators within 24 hours of completing signing formalities with customers.
- Ensure the quality of applications submitted and rectify errors or omissions if any.
- Check file activation and notify management in case of delay at the card centre end.
- Maintain good rapport within ADIB (inter-department and peers) to ensure smooth business flow.
- Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-efforts basis.
- Escalate customer complaints to management if any.
- Multi-product sales experience, payroll or employee banking experience.
- Good knowledge of retail banking service standards, sales skills, and computer skills.
- General awareness of competitors in the local and regional market.
- Driving license.
