Planning Engineer - Sharjah

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to join our dynamic design consultancy team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in project scheduling, monitoring, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects by coordinating with various stakeholders and optimizing resources.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate planning tools and software.
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and clients to gather necessary project information and updates.
- Monitor project progress and identify any deviations from the plan, proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, milestones, and forecasts for senior management and clients.
- Conduct risk assessments related to project timelines and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Assist in resource planning and allocation to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the design consultancy or construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and industry best practices is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
Salary: AED 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
