The Senior Software Engineer is primarily responsible for developing, scaling, enhancing and maintaining our trading platform and relevant components. Working closely with other engineering, vendor, product, and operations teams, they will leverage their software engineering expertise to maintain our commitment to excellence in a fast-paced trading environment.

• Building and maintaining scalable software and systems.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to other engineers.
• Understanding and using ADSS's technical architectures, tools, and techniques to build powerful, efficient, flexible, and scalable solutions.
• Participate in the design and review of new features and system architecture.
• Implement best practices for software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in capital markets, brokerage, and the wider ecosystem.

• 5+ years of professional experience developing low latency Java systems.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of network programming in Java and JVM performance tuning.
• Proven experience of building Trading systems/components using FIX protocol, Aeron, Chronicle and other low latency toolkits.
• In-depth knowledge of web infrastructure and protocols
