Job Description
We are a leading interior fit-out company with a proven track record of delivering high-end commercial spaces across the UAE. Our work spans F&B outlets, retail stores, corporate offices, and premium residential interiors, combining quality craftsmanship with technical expertise across all trades including MEP, civil works, and carpentry.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales and project acquisition efforts. This role is vital to our growth strategy, focusing on establishing relationships, identifying potential projects, and converting opportunities into signed contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Target New Business Opportunities:
- Conduct market research and use various lead-generation strategies to build a pipeline of prospective clients within the commercial fit-out industry (retail, F&B, offices, and residential).
- Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as real estate developers, consultants, project managers, architects, and design firms.
- Present Company Capabilities:
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and sales pitches that clearly communicate the companys capabilities, project portfolio, and value proposition.
- Tender Participation & Proposal Management:
- Lead the preparation of technical and financial proposals in collaboration with the estimation and project management teams. Ensure submissions meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Contract Negotiation and Deal Closure:
- Lead negotiations on pricing and contract terms. Work closely with legal or operations teams to ensure contracts are accurately executed.
- Market and Competitor Intelligence:
- Stay updated on market developments, competitor activity, and upcoming projects in the UAE construction and fit-out space. Identify trends and opportunities for strategic partnerships.
- Client Follow-ups and Account Nurturing:
- Maintain a long-term relationship with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Reporting and Sales Forecasting:
- Maintain detailed records of pipeline, client interactions, and sales performance. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project sales within the interior fit-out or construction industry in the UAE.
- In-depth understanding of commercial interiors (particularly retail, F&B, and office environments) and client needs within these sectors.
- Strong understanding of fit-out project life cycles, from design through execution.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and securing high-value projects.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proficient in creating and delivering technical proposals, bid documentation, and client presentations.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple leads, and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic is a MUST
