We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar, ensuring timely planning, scheduling, and approvals.
- Align social media strategy with broader marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing artwork, animations, and video content.
- Create basic designs, infographics, and social media assets independently when required.
- Draft engaging captions, descriptions, and hashtags tailored to a professional audience.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and department heads to source content and campaign ideas.
- Attend company events, site visits, and video shoots as needed to support content creation.
- Monitor social media platforms using analytics tools to track engagement, reach, impressions, and post-performance.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, including content performance, competitor analysis, and audience insights.
- Use data to refine and optimise social media strategy, enhancing engagement and visibility.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience managing social media for a corporate or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with content planning, content creation, and working within a structured marketing team.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok), content trends, best practices and engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools, such as CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience using social media scheduling and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or LinkedIn Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work independently and within a team.
