Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in modern frontend development, with expert-level knowledge of Next.js and a solid understanding of coding, development tools, and software technologies.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive and user-friendly web applications while working closely with the development and other relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
- Build scalable frontend applications using Next.js.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other team members.
- Convert UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces.
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Identify and troubleshoot frontend issues and bugs.
- Ensure applications follow modern coding and development standards.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong professional experience with Next.js and React.
- Strong understanding of Next.js App Router.
- Practical experience with React Server Components and Client Components.
- Strong understanding of React Hooks and component lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building reusable components and custom React hooks.
- Strong understanding of server-side and client-side rendering.
- Experience with Next.js data fetching, caching, revalidation, and API integration.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based services.
- Understanding of authentication and secure client/server communication.
- Strong understanding of responsive and accessible web development.
- Experience with Git and modern development tools.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Understanding of modern web security practices.
- Ability to translate technical requirements and UI/UX designs into production-ready solutions.
Preferred Technical Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- Next.js App Router
- React Server Components (RSC)
- Server Actions
- React Hooks and custom hooks
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- shadcn/ui or similar component libraries
- React Query / TanStack Query
- Zustand or similar state-management solutions
- Zod or similar schema-validation libraries
- REST APIs
- Authentication systems such as NextAuth/Auth.js or equivalent
- Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library
- ESLint, Prettier, and modern code-quality tooling
- Docker and CI/CD workflows
- Experience working with Figma and design systems
- The ideal candidate should be an Arabic speaker.
- Own Visa preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Emirates ID preferred.
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred due to the onsite nature of the position.
