Technical Architect / Project Architect - 6 Month

Job Description

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in supporting the Senior Architect and Design Lead across all project stages, from schematic design to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Architect and design teams in developing design stages from Schematic Design to Issued for Construction (IFC).
• Support the preparation of architectural documentation for stage submissions, authority approvals, tendering, and construction.
• Proactively review and coordinate multi-disciplinary project documents, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Senior Design Lead and Project Manager to deliver professional design management services.
• Participate in internal planning meetings with sub-consultants and prepare related correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with Design BIM Standards and maintain organized project filing systems.
• Review and summarize statutory requirements for local authority submissions.
• Prepare comprehensive lists of documents for design and working drawing packages.
• Coordinate with the design team to clarify and update drawing modifications and technical specifications.
• Prepare and manage drawing documentation and coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Assist in the development of tender and construction documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical support to site supervision teams, resolving design-related issues during construction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 810 years of professional experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Strong proficiency in Revit; Revit design certifications are highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of UAE building codes, authority requirements, and construction practices.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications, BOQs, and design reports.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
