About Your Team
You'll report to the General Manager and work closely with the production, design, and procurement departments. Your team thrives on precision, collaboration, and efficiencyensuring that every step of the manufacturing process is planned and executed with excellence.
Your Role
As a Planning Engineer, you will:
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules in coordination with project managers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor factory performance and ensure timely delivery of joinery products
- Track material availability and coordinate with procurement to prevent delays
- Adjust plans to address bottlenecks or changes in project requirements
- Analyze data and conduct time studies to improve operational efficiency
- Produce regular reports and performance dashboards for senior management
- Coordinate manpower and machine allocation to optimize output
- Promote compliance with safety and quality standards across planning activities
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in planning within a joinery or construction environment
- Knowledge: Production scheduling, ERP tools, and planning systems
- Expertise: MS Project, Excel, ERP scheduling tools (Primavera P6 is a plus)
