Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Hostess to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Hostess, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage reservations through phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated
- Monitor table rotation to maximize seating efficiency and minimize wait times
- Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with empathy and efficiency
- Assist in resolving any customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to support overall operations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions
- Previous experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations
- Excellent guest service skills with a strong customer-focused attitude
- Superior English language proficiency, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for managing reservations and table assignments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move continuously during shifts
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality is a plus
